We didn't really mean for people to order stuff from here, but, rather, use it as a guide for what we need or are still low on.

Shoppers Drug Mart Baby Gift Card |
There are still dozens of drug store items we need, along the lines of shampoo, powder, etc. If you are pressed for time, one of these would be fantastic!

Wearable Blankets and/or Swaddling Cloths |
I love wearable blankets, but, alas, I have had to be reasonable with them as they are generally $10 - $20 each. However, I reckon we can't have too many such things. Also, we don't have any blankets specifically for swaddling yet, and these seem pretty useful.

Cloth Diapers |
We are planning on having a green baby, so we are stocking up on cloth diapers. Stitched and such are nice, but just plain cotton diapers are also great. You can get plain cloth diapers for a reasonable price at Zeller's, or you can see our Amazon list for ideas. Also, baby safety pins are always useful.

Clothes for 12 months and up |
We seem to be ok for newborn sizes and six months, but after that things taper off. Older sizes would certainly be welcome.

Basic Stacker Toy |

Hard to believe, but we don't have one of these things yet!

Bare Essentials |
We will have to diaper and bathe this kid for a long time, so extras in the shampoo, baby wash, lotions, oils, bum cream, soap, powder, wipes, etc., area would be great and would save us time and money down the road to have a good stock of. We prefer the gentle, non-toxic-to-the-environment stuff, but we aren't massively into the boutique crowd. Johnsons and Johnsons will do just fine!

Safety First! |
First Aid kits, manuals and the like, as well as a fire extinguisher, would be very welcome. We are ok on electrical outlet plugs, but we will soon need cabinet latches and a toilet latch, etc.
| 14060 / 23 |
Mobile |

Oddly enough, we haven't been able to find a mobile yet.
| 14060 / 10 |
A Moby Wrap |

I have a carrier, but these have come highly recommended. I plan on having a "wearable baby," so all such nifty slings and contraptions would be of use.

Locally made, these things look comfy for both parent and baby.
| 14060 / 32 |
Grocery Store Gift Certificates |
We can easily shop at Superstore, Food Basics and Sobey's, so anything from these places would be a help.
| 14060 / 27 |
Baby Suitable Media |
Copies (burned or bought) of lullaby/children's music or nature sounds CDs, kids' DVDs, etc., including nature documentaries and the like, are always welcome.

Crib Comforter |
x1 |
We have a bunch of blankets and sheets and a quilt on its way, but we couldn't find a good comforter so far. This would be a lovely gift.

Diaper Service Gift Certificates |
To save us time, energy and money, it might be nice to try a diaper service for a bit of time.

Enviro-Friendly Baby Supplies |
Washable wipes, etc., are always needed, as well as good supplies of cotton-second washcloths and other thin cloths that I can use and wash and avoid resorting to paper towels when spills arise.
| 14060 / 21 |
Infant Aroma-Therapy |
x1 |
I am intrigued by the idea of scented bath and lotions which are geared towards the baby's specific moods - such as one for when he is sick or cranky. Such things, as long as they are baby safe, would be a great idea to give a try.

Materna Prenatal Vitamins |
Also useful for breastfeeding, these are widely available at most drugstores (in Canada, anyway) and are approved by my doctor.
| 14060 / 16 |
Crib Mirror |
x1 |
We got the crib just recently, so we haven't had time yet to soup it up. A baby-safe, hangable mirror would be great.
| 14060 / 2 |
Nursing Supplies |
We are breastfeeding, so things like nursing pillows, cream, an extra hand-pump and the like would be very welcome. Also, books on the topic would be great!
| 14060 / 8 |
Storage Ideas |
We live in a small place, so anything that might make handy storage for toys and other things, as well as laundry hampers, waste bins and laundry baskets, are always welcome!
| 14060 / 25 |
Bottle Feeding Supplies |
We plan on eventually switching to pumped and bottle-fed, so we will need bottles suitable for the 6 month and up age.
| 14060 / 22 |
Baby Gym and Tummy Time Mats/Toys |
x1 |
We are planning on making due for floor play with a rug and blankets, etc., but these things look pretty nifty, and we don't have either thing, yet.
| 14060 / 6 |
Baby Food Books |
We are planning on making our own baby food, so recipe books or manuals would be lovely! We are keeping an eye on organic, kosher and vegetarian baby food cooking, so anything along those lines would be great.
| 14060 / 7 |
Baby Memory Items |
x1 |
We don't have an all-purpose baby scrap book or albums, yet. We've just been holding on to the pregnancy items for future arrangement. Something of that nature would be very nice. It doesn't even have to be baby-themed, but just a nice, durable scrap book that will stand up to many flippings.
| 14060 / 13 |
Manual Breast Pump |
x1 |
I have a breastpump and starter kit, but it would be nice to have an extra for unexpected breakdowns.

| 14060 / 19 |

Books on baby care, infant health, etc., are always useful, especially since we are first-timers.

Anything to perk up a crib.
| 14060 / 33 |
Food Processor and/or Hand Mill |
x1 |
We will be making our own baby food, so if you know of a gadget that would be perfect for this, feel free. We have a blender, but we will need something with a bit more finesse, possibly.
| 14060 / 30 |
Microwave Oven |
x1 |

Not for the baby's food, but for our's, as we will be in need of quick sustenance on the run!
| 14060 / 34 |
